Ingredients:
-
2 thick slices of BÄKKER High Protein Bread
-
150 gr thinly sliced Chicken Breast (or lean beef)
-
4 tablespoons Strained Yogurt (Optional: whisked with 1 crushed garlic clove)

-
1 teaspoon Butter (For an authentic flavor touch, don't overdo it)
-
Salt, black pepper, chili flakes, thyme

-
How to Prepare?
-
Crispy Base: Dice the BÄKKER bread into cubes (dice-sized) on a cutting board. Fry them in a pan or oven until thoroughly crispy and spread them at the bottom of the serving plate.
-
Cooking the Meat: Cook the thinly sliced chicken (or meat) in a non-stick pan with very little oil, thyme, and black pepper until its juices evaporate and it's lightly browned.
-
Iskender Sauce: Melt the butter in a small saucepan or briki. Add the tomato paste, hot water, and chili flakes, and boil for 1-2 minutes to create a delicious sauce.
-
Assembly: Drizzle the garlic yogurt over the crispy BÄKKER bread at the bottom of the plate. Place the hot chicken slices on top of the yogurt.
-
Finishing Touch: Pour the sizzling hot tomato sauce on top. Serve immediately with a roasted pepper on the side.
