Ingredients:
-
1 BÄKKER High-Protein Lavash (Tortilla)
-
1 Red or Green Apple (Grated and lightly squeezed)
-
1 heaping teaspoon Cinnamon
-
2 tablespoons Crushed Walnuts or Hazelnuts
-
1 tablespoon Sugar-free Peanut Butter (or Labneh)
-
1 teaspoon Honey or Maple Syrup
-
-
How to Make It?
-
Prepare the Base: Lay the BÄKKER lavash flat on a surface. Spread a thin layer of peanut butter (or labneh) over it. This will help the ingredients adhere to the lavash.
-
Filling: Mix the grated apple, cinnamon, and crushed walnuts in a small bowl.
-
Filling and Rolling: Spread the apple mixture evenly over the entire lavash. Starting from one end of the lavash, roll it up very tightly (without leaving any air inside).
-
Slicing: Cut the prepared long roll into round slices (snail-shaped) approximately 2 fingers thick using a sharp knife.
-
Baking: Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cut side up. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (or Airfryer) for 10-12 minutes until the edges are crispy and the apples are slightly caramelized.
-
Serving: Drizzle a very thin string of honey over the hot rolls fresh from the oven and serve.
