Why is it sold only in Turkey?
There are some products that are the same brand, same packaging, same slogan, but with one difference! They are sold only in Turkey. And this difference usually means lower quality, more additives, and different ingredients.
It’s truly incomprehensible why a preservative banned in Europe is still on our shelves. Some products, believe me, are not cheaper here. This is because very few of us question, read, or research. Why are the products that these so-called global brands sell to us different from the products they offer to their own people? Does the fact that a product is not sold in another country mean that the health of the public there is more valuable?
If we don't ask these questions, the answers will never come to us.
Turkey is not just a “market.”
Turkey can be a conscious society. But for that, we must first ask.
• What's on the label?
• Why are the ingredients different?
• Why don't we demand the same quality from the same brand?
These questions encompass not only food, but also a matter of societal dignity. Sometimes, a product being sold in only one country is, in my opinion, an indicator of the value given to that country.
Because this issue is not just about products; it is a matter of equality, respect, and awareness. We must not remain silent.
