Data-Driven Nutrition and Free Will

What will the plate of the future look like?

Every time we wonder what to eat today, that thought might be a thing of the past in the future. Because that decision won't be ours, but our data's.

DNA analysis, gut microbiome, sleep patterns, heart rate, step count, mood… All these will be evaluated to create personalized menus. Perhaps in the morning, we'll have an app in our pockets saying, "Your serotonin levels are low; I recommend a breakfast rich in tryptophan."

Food will cease to be just food. It will become a prescription, a treatment, and a companion.

The content will be personalized, the product functional, and consumption conscious.

But what will be the limit of this?
Will eating according to our data truly make us healthier? Or will it turn us into individuals who are more controlled?

On one hand, we will achieve an "ideal" body composition; on the other hand, we will distance ourselves from our natural, spontaneous choices.

We must not forget this!
Food may be a system, but a human is an emotion.

Will these technological nutrition systems overshadow the question of "what do I want" in the future?

Perhaps the biggest revolution will not be in the menu, but in how we make decisions.
